NEW POST: Please Comment & Subscribe

Thanks to everyone who has visited our site and left comments. This week, we’d like to follow-up on our question about appearances. We recognize that appearances are the superficial aspect of aging but, realistically, we all face challenges as we age. Here are three questions that are quick and easy to answer, and we invite you to tell us how you feel about any or all three of them:

1. What are age-appropriate clothes for women over 60?
2. Do you think you are as attractive as you were when you were 30?
3. Have you ever had cosmetic surgery or used Botox? If so, why?

P.S. If you subscribe to this site, you will receive a notice in your email every time someone posts a comment. Your comments are what creates our community. So, please subscribe.

    1. I feel everyone our age looks better covered up, but you can still have fun with fashion.
    2. No
    3. I haven’t, but, if I could afford it, I might.

  2. I too was pg at age 30, no surgeries and age appropriate depends on where she might be. Really short shorts and “boobs” falling out of tops turn me off as well as large tatoos…Of course I’m not excited about looking at boobs and “butts” of any woman no matter the age.

    1. I’m sticking with Dot on this one.
    2. Ditto to Dot.
    3. On this one, I’ll stick with Shirley, on the $$$ comment. A woman’s body belongs to her. If she wants to fix it up to suit her tastes, that’s her business.

  4. 1. cover up anything that isn’t where it was two decades ago. beyond that, if you like it, wear it.
    2. of course not.
    3. yes, i had too many chins and the doctor recommended buyinig another chin. so i did. i would definitely do it again.

  5. 1. Clothing should always take into consideration the sensibilities of others. I try not to offend or embarrass.
    2. Attractive at 30? Well, I was pregnant! Remember passing maternity clothes around? That was fun.
    3. Oh, good grief, NO.

  6. Age appropriate clothing depends on your size, your lifestyle, the occassion, and, probably your income.
No, I don’t look as good as I did at 30. I only wish I had known that at 30 – that it wouldn’t last forever
I have had re-construction surgery for cancer. Who knows what I would do if I had the $$$$.
